About the role

As the New Product Development Executive within the R&D team, you will spearhead the research, formulation, and development of new beverage products. This includes conceptualizing innovative beverage ideas, conducting in-depth research, and working collaboratively with other teams to transform ideas into commercially viable products. You will oversee the R&D process from initial ideation through formulation, testing, and commercialization

Duties & responsibilities

  • Stay updated on beverage trends, flavor profiles, and ingredient innovations in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic categories.
  • Collaborate with senior product developers to assist in the creation and development of new beverage products.
  • Must have knowledge of various beverage categories, including but not limited to juices, soft drinks, energy drinks, and functional beverages.
  • Participate in refining existing products to enhance flavor profiles, mouthfeel, quality, and market appeal.
  • Coordinate project activities and timelines to ensure the timely delivery of new beverage products.
  • Apply culinary techniques and knowledge gained through relevant education to contribute to beverage product development.
  • Support the development of prototypes and proof of concept models for new beverage concepts.
  • Prepare samples for customer presentations, ensuring that product presentation is aligned with brand and quality standards

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidate must hold Graduate degree
  • Candidate must have minimum 3 yrs. experience of experience in new product development
  • Understanding of food safety and quality standards.
  • Effective project management and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest innovations in beverage ingredients.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and certifications for beverages

  • Ability to create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment
  • Creative and passionate about new trends in food.
  • Basic culinary skills and creativity to assist in developing appealing food and beverage products.
  • Entry-level proficiency in product development processes, including recipe creation and sensory evaluation.
  • Basic understanding of ingredients and their impact on product quality.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey culinary concepts.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders on product development projects.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the culinary and product development field.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing product requirements and market trends.
  • Basic time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
