About the role
As the New Product Development Executive within the R&D team, you will spearhead the research, formulation, and development of new beverage products. This includes conceptualizing innovative beverage ideas, conducting in-depth research, and working collaboratively with other teams to transform ideas into commercially viable products. You will oversee the R&D process from initial ideation through formulation, testing, and commercialization
Duties & responsibilities
- Stay updated on beverage trends, flavor profiles, and ingredient innovations in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic categories.
- Collaborate with senior product developers to assist in the creation and development of new beverage products.
- Must have knowledge of various beverage categories, including but not limited to juices, soft drinks, energy drinks, and functional beverages.
- Participate in refining existing products to enhance flavor profiles, mouthfeel, quality, and market appeal.
- Coordinate project activities and timelines to ensure the timely delivery of new beverage products.
- Apply culinary techniques and knowledge gained through relevant education to contribute to beverage product development.
- Support the development of prototypes and proof of concept models for new beverage concepts.
- Prepare samples for customer presentations, ensuring that product presentation is aligned with brand and quality standards
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidate must hold Graduate degree
- Candidate must have minimum 3 yrs. experience of experience in new product development
- Understanding of food safety and quality standards.
- Effective project management and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the latest innovations in beverage ingredients.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and certifications for beverages
